As we enter into the chilly, ok COLD, days of December, we need to take time to look back to the events that occurred in November. 😊
Thanksgiving
In November we celebrated Thanksgiving and everything we are thankful for. We are definitely thankful for our adoption community and all the support we have and continue to receive over the years. We are also very thankful for the newest addition to the Adoption Circle family. Our social worker Brittany and her husband Josh welcomed their cute baby girl Anderson to the world in November. Congratulations to Brittany and Josh. Anderson is absolutely adorable.
National Adoption Month
In November we recognized National Adoption Awareness Month. During the month, the purpose is to spread awareness about adoption. It is to encourage others to learn about adoption, hold adoption related events, and to acknowledge people whose lives have been impacted by adoption. Adoption Circle spent the month providing outreach materials to hospitals, doctor offices and health care clinics. Thank you gift bags were also provided as a small token of appreciation for providers' collaborative work with Adoption Circle and the continued support of the adoption community.

Holidays:
As we are in the holiday season, Adoption Circle is actively working on the annual toy drive. This toy drive provides gifts and toys to birthmothers and the children they are parenting. Many of our birthmothers lack the resources to provide a magical holiday for their children. On Giving Tuesday we received some donations to assist with the holiday toy drive. We also have contributions from community members and adoptive parents. We are appreciative of all contributions and open to receiving more donations. Every year our goal is to make the holiday season special for as many children and birthmothers as we can. If you would like to donate, you are able to donate directly on our website (donate here), or contact Kim@adoptioncircle.org. It’s not too late to become an elf and help a child’s holiday be magical this year. 😊.
Congratulations
In November some families welcomed new ones to their families and others finalized their adoptions. Congratulations to all!
Looking forward to the December newsletter and highlighting all the holiday events. If you don’t follow us on our social media accounts (FaceBook, Instagram, Twitter), please do so. We post several times throughout the month. 😊
