LA Counseling in Worthington, Ohio, will be offering a free support group for teens (9th-12th graders) who have been adopted. Whether they have been adopted internationally, within the US, by a stepparent or extended family member, all are welcome. We will talk about the challenges as well as the blessings that come from being adopted.
This group will be led by Grace Pratt. Grace was adopted at birth and has gone through many of the ups and downs that teenagers may be facing. A lot of teens struggle with the uncertainty around their adoption. They may have questions that they can’t make sense of and they may not know how to ask these questions and/or express them in a healthy way. Some of the questions that we are going to explore are:

Our hope is that this group will be a safe place for teens to explore questions, process emotions, and find encouragement and support. This group is free for attendees. There are only 12 spots available, so sign up soon by calling Grace @ 412-926-2380.
