Well August is behind us, and we are nearing the end of the summer. The hot August temperatures didn’t indicate Fall is near, but we know cooler temps are around the corner. We are excited to look back to the events that occurred in August.
Back to School
August marked the return to school for many children. We are sure there were mixed emotions; sadness for kids and glee for parents 😊. We are wishing all children a safe and successful school year. We were happy to see all the photos of our children returning to school.
Congratulations
Adoption Circle is so honored to be able to continue to serve in the adoption community. Starting the agency over 30 years ago, our main goal was to serve in the adoption community which includes our birthparents and adoptive parents. We don’t take it lightly the trust that families instill in us so they can realize their dreams of becoming parents. It never gets old seeing the love and the smiles on the families when their babies are placed in their arms. Congratulations to our families who realized their dreams in August.

As children return to school, some parents may ask the question, how or if they should share with the teacher or administrator their child is adopted. Opinions may vary from definitely yes, to letting their child decide, or definitely no. Adoptive Families polled families about their thoughts on sharing or not sharing information about their child being adopted with their child’s school. This is the link where families discuss their feelings and experiences in sharing or not sharing with their child’s teacher.
Holiday Drive
Just as many can’t believe the new school year is here, the holidays will also be here before we know it. It’s never too early to start thinking about our annual toy and holiday drive for our birthmothers and the children they are parenting. Please consider “adopting” a family or donating to the annual toy and holiday drive. You can do so at the following link.
