June is now behind us. Summer and the heat came in with a bang. Along with the heat, came several activities and events to recognize and celebrate.. It’s time to take a look back to the month of June.
Father’s Day
In June we celebrated Father’s Day. We recognized all the amazing fathers and father figures. We especially want to recognize all of our amazing Adoption Circle Dads!!
Juneteenth
In 1865 the last enslaved people in America were emancipated. Adoption Circle continues to honor and recognize Juneteenth. The agency recognizes all generations of activities that have fought and continue to fight for freedom for all.
PRIDE MONTH
LGTBQ month is celebrated to honor the 1969 Stonewall riots, and works to achieve equal justice and equal opportunity for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning Americans. Adoption Circle takes great PRIDE in helping all parents build their families.
Finalizations
Congratulations to our families who finalized in the month. There is nothing like the sweet bond of siblings and the realization their baby sister is legally “theirs”. Something tells us that this big brother will ALWAYS look after his little sister. 😊.

Kim continues to explore adoption information through adoption books, webinars and podcasts. She’s looking to connect with others to share information and resources, so please connect with kim@adoptioncircle.org. Kim loves hearing from birthmothers and adoptive parents. She recently ran into an adoptive parent she worked with over 10 years ago.
We are looking forward to see what the month of July brings. Excited to connect with families and see all the fun summer events and 4th of July celebrations. Remember to follow social media.
