  • Support Groups

    Ohio Birthparent Group is open to birthmothers and birthfathers only. This group is a private space for birthparents to meet others who understand this life-long journey through open discussion.

    Adoption Network in Cleveland offers the Birthmothers’ Support Group that provides a safe environment for birthmothers of all ages to share and learn from each other, as well as to nurture hope and healing.

    Concerned United Birth Parent (CUB) provides support for a birth mother or birth father who has already relinquished a child to adoption.

    American Adoption Congress is national organization committed to progressive adoption reforms. Check their homepage for a listing of affiliated Support Groups across the country.

    Reunite of Ohio is a search and support organization for all members of the adoption triad.

    Open Adoption Support is a great resource for birth parents involved in open adoption…and it is from Ohio!
